Can't believe, Aydin is 6 months old already...

It's hard to believe that Aydin is already 6 months. He's really growing fast! Here are some recent pictures of him and I will be following with more updates in the next few days. I will add pictures from our recent trip to Turkey, as well!

5 months old already!

Aydin is getting so big! He was 14.13lbs at his 4 month check-up last month! He is eating like a big boy. He loves his rice cereal and he was just introduced to apple sauce and loves it, too. He is such a happy baby with such a huge personality! He loves to babble alot and we think he is really trying to say "Ma"!










Aydin is really enjoying his "tummy time" and is able to rock from side to side and hold his head up on his own.




We had a wonderful 1st Halloween. Aydin was the cutest little monkey in his costume! He loved the trick-or-treaters that came to the door and even got to trick-or-treat for a few minutes himself!

3 Month Check Up...

Aydin had his 3 month check up at the beginning of the month. He is a healthy little 3 month old with a great appetite. He weighed 13lbs 6 oz at that visit. He is so alert and so happy! He loves our time together during the day when I sing him songs! He just smiles at me all the time! He is only 3 months old, but he already has a fondness for football. He loves to lay on the floor in front of the tv or sit in his bouncer and watch the games.

Labor Day Weekend...

Things have been so busy at the Dogan household, but we were able to get away for some rest and relaxation on Labor Day Weekend. We took a few days and headed to Ocean City. It was sweet Aydin's first vacation. He did so great. It was a great little get away for all of us!

There's just something about that ceiling fan!

Who knew a ceiling fan could be so entertaining.  It's amazing that all babies find them so fascinating, Aydin is no exception!  He is mesmerized by our bedroom ceiling fan!  He will turn in our arms however he has to so he can see it!  Here are a few pictures of him enjoying the fan today!

Aydin is growing so fast. He's been so tiny up until now, barely fitting into even his little onsies! He is finally big enough to wear some of his outfits and footed pajamas! He looked so big this morning!

My mom here for a visit...

It's been so great having my mom here for a visit. She's going to be here with us for two weeks. She's enjoying her time with Aydin and we are sure enjoying having her here! Here are some of the pictures we've taken while she's been here, there will be more posted very soon!

The 2 month mark..

Aydin is growing so fast and we can't believe how fast the time goes by. He had his 9 week check up and weighed 11 lbs & 11 oz. He is so animated & alert, he loves waving his arms and kicking his legs! He is smiling more and more each day, especially when he hears the sound of Mommy's voice. The changing table is the perfect height for us to have our little daily chats! He loves this time together, talking to me and staring into my eyes! One of Aydin's other favorite places to play is his activity mat on the living room floor. He loves to play on it while listening to the Baby Developmental channel on tv while Mommy tells him what he's watching! He loves the noise of the t.v. Love, Leslie & Ozgur

Aydin is already 2 months old!

Hard to believe that our sweet angel is already 2 months old! He is a happy baby with the greatest little smile! My mom is back for a visit and we are really enjoying having her here! Here is a picture that she took of all of us together!

Teyze Shanna came to visit us...

At the end of July, Teyze Shanna came from Memphis for a visit! We had a great few days together! We finished up some last touches on the nursery and took several outings, too! She took some pictures while she was here. Enjoy!

Our first days home...

It was so nice to finally bring Baby Aydin home! We really enjoyed having my mom and Terry here to help with the house, while we were getting adjusted to being home! They enjoyed that time with Aydin, too! Here are a few pictures of our first days home.
